An incomplete lead alloy Powder measure of Post Medieval date (AD 1600-1700). The object is circular in plan with two open ends. One end has possibly been cut out circumferentially. The object is misshapen probably due to post-depositional processes. There is a raised central pellet on the inside of the cap end, and one linear casting seam on one side, the other side having been cut away. There is a small amount of wall missing close to one of the casting seam. The object is cream a predominantly smooth patina.
Height: 22.72mm; Width: 17.59mm; Thickness (of walls): 4.51mm. Weight: 16.2g.
