Copper alloy belt or strap mount, most likely of late post medieval or modern date, c. 1600-1800AD. The mount is a double axehead shape with bevelled outer edged. The waisted area at the centre of the object is decorated with two parallel grooves. On the back of the object are two pointed lugs that have been bent over. The object is attached to a piece of leather, presumably from the strap it was originally fastened to. The object has a dark green patina.
