A complete lead or lead alloy Shot of Post-Medieval date (AD 1640-1750). The object is spherical with a shallow circumferential casting seam and flattened casting spru. The metal is cream in colour with a lightly pitted patina. The weight of the ball suggests that it was meant to be fired from a Musket.
