Two incomplete composite cast copper-alloy strap ends dating to the Medieval period, c. 1250-1400. Each strap end consists two outer plates riveted together tat their upper and lower edges, the plates themselves being sub-rectangular in form (tapering towards their base), with a projecting knopped terminal. Length: 26.97/17.64mm, thickness at midpoint: 1.73/3.29mm. Combined weight: 5.45g. C.f SWYOR-2C0FD1 on the PAS database, virtually identical to these two examples.
