Copper alloy square frame with sub-rectangular sides that have expanded circular terminal. The forwarded edge is moulded into a baluster form which narrows ends and an expanded mid section, at the rear is the narrowed strap bar. Wrapped around the strapbar is a sheet copper alloy buckle plate that has been folded in two with a shot in the centre for the pin, the pin is also made of copper alloy. There are two rivets at the rear of the plate for attachment.
