A bent medieval halfgroat of Edward III (1327-77), fourth coinage, pre-treaty series E, standard type F, cross 2 initial mark, struck at York and dating to 1354-5. The coin has closed Cs and Es, a wedge-tailed R, unbarred Ns and annulet stops. The coin is bent between 3 and 8 o'clock on the obverse.
