Fragment of a medieval to post-medieval cast copper alloy cauldron, small rim sherd integral with the upper part of a vertical angled loop for a handle. The rim diameter cannot be accurately measured. The loop, length 57mm, is round-sectioned and tapers slightly (diameter 15.5 - 13.5mm) to an angle beyond which is a break. Weight 86.45g. 14th - 17th century.
