An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age to Roman end-looped cosmetic mortar, dating to AD 1-200. It has a slightly curved bow in profile and a smoothly -rounded keel; the deep groove on the top of the bow, gives to it a U-shaped cross-section. The missing end should have had a loop or some other sort of handle. The surviving end is pointed and undecorated; the surfaces are moderate worn.

Cf with end-looped example in Jackson (2010, p. 108, no. 154). Cf with BH-2845A6, NMS-94D545 on this database.
