Incomplete medieval copper alloy purse bar of Williams 2018 Class A1 with the central swiveling loop and one terminal missing. There are two flat tabs, both with two attachment holes. Niello inlay on the shield-shaped central block or boss forms a saltire on one face and the letter W on the other, while the outer parts carry a double-line lattice. Extant length 166mm. Estimated complete length 180mm. Height at boss 15mm. Second half 15th century.
