A contemporary lead-alloy copy of a silver halfcrown of Charles I (AD 1625-1649) dated to 1645, with (R) initial mark. Group III type with third horseman obverse and round garnished shield on the reverse, as North (1991), p159 number 2213.

Notes:

Probably a core for a forgery which may have originally been silver plated. Directly comparable examples on the database are BERK-B59DAB and LON-700A09.
