Medieval sheet copper alloy shield-shaped strap end with concave cut-out in both sides, perforation at the pointed end with copper alloy rivet, rectangular-sectioned bar-mount with rectangular cut-out in inner face, secured by a copper alloy rivet. Both rivets have a circular copper alloy rove on the reverse. Egan and Pritchard (1991), fig.103. Length 29.5mm. Width 10mm. Bar-mount 3.5 x 10mm. c.1270 - c.1450.
