An incomplete, clipped and worn Medieval silver penny of Edward III (1327-1377), minted at York. Series E, 1354-1355, Treaty B, 1361-1369 or Post-Treaty Period, 1369-1377 (North 1991: 51-59).

Obverse: +EDWARDVS [REX] ANGLI (N has reversed bar); Crowned bust facing with a bifoliate crown.

Reverse: C[IVI]/TAS/EBO/RACI; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant, quatrefoil at centre of cross.

Diameter: 16.2mm. Weight: 0.79g. DA=12:3.
