Incomplete copper-alloy crotal bell of post-medieval date (c. 1500 - 1600 AD). The object is hollow and spherical in form, with two circular-sectioned protrustions at the top representing the remains of a suspension loop. A large section of the object is missing, which has revealed the globular copper-alloy clapper. There are two circular perforations on either side of the suspension loop. The object has a patchy brown and green patina. It is 31.11mm in length, 25.49mm in width and 1.41mm in thickness. It weighs 14.56g.
There are a number of similar examples recorded on the database, including: LVPL-74F6D5 and BUC-0377D0.
