Incomplete front plate from a medieval copper alloy composite strap-end: rectangular with a straight break across the upper end and four transverse engraved lines above the straight terminal with a projecting elongated point. Extant length 35mm. Width 15mm. 0.8mm thick. See Egan and Pritchard, 142, fig. 93. 14th century.
