Iron Age / Romano-British Langton Down brooch, spring, pin and foot missing. Cf. Hattatt no.270, “hooks and eyes”. Below a transverse groove at the top the D-section bow is apparently undecorated. A continental variety, so called Nertomarus type, Hattatt (1985), 36.
