A copper alloy button-and-loop fastener, closest to Wild class 5a, dating late 1st-2nd century AD. The fastener has an L-shaped body with a discoidal head and a looped foot at the opposite end of the body. The disc-head is flat on the reverse and convex on the front, it is decorated with a slightly assymmetric pattern, consisting of a central boss with two sunken outer circular fields for enamel, no traces of enamel remain. From the reverse of the head projects a shank, which is bent at an angle of 90 degrees so that it lies parallel to the head but remains slightly offset. This shank terminates in a circular loop and has a sub-circular cross section. The foot of the body is formed by a forking of the body that forms the sides of a loop with a circular aperture. There is a break through one side of the loop where the wall thins.
