Lead alloy possible button fragment. A cast plano-convex object with an outer lobed edge, possibly cinquefoil, with an inner raised boss bearing strongly moulded vegetal or floral detail; this might depict a basket of fruit or flowers. Against this identification: there is now no trace of a loop visible on the back, and the object is unusually weighty to serve as a button along with others. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1750.
