Post-medieval copper alloy shoe buckle consisting of a frame which is similar in size and form to Whitehead 2003, no. 663 but is decorated with five moulded grooves in the centre of the edges and with four on the sides at the spindle housing, a pin and an incomplete (probably stud) chape and an iron spindle. Length and width of frame 20.8 and 15mm. A maker's mark WW is stamped on the chape, to be viewed with the stud downwards. c.1690 - c.1720.
