A Post Medieval ceramic fragment from a Border Ware chafing dish, dating from the mid 16th to early 17th century. The sherd includes part of the side wall, rim and one circular lug. The chafing dish bowl was pierced with the surviving fragment having one hole present. The fabric is buff with a yellow ochre glaze covers most of the external and internal surfaces.
