A fragment of a possible Roman, umbonate disc brooch, possibly 2nd century AD.100-200. The object comprises a fragment of the central boss, with a central circular raised border surrounding a smaller central knop. The recessed area between has the remains of enamel set within. The back of the piece is concave. The edges of the piece are all broken, the breaks are worn and old.
