A medieval silver cut quarter long voided cross penny of Henry III (1216-72) dating to c.1247-72.

Obverse: facing bust and partial inscription ENRIC (with N and R ligated and a closed C) Reverse: long cross with three pellets in each quarter and partial inscription RIC. This is probably a moneyer named RICARD of which there were many at various mints. Estimated diamer of full pre-cut coin 19.2mm, thickness 0.65 and weight 0.3g.
