Copper alloy pendant. A small composite object of machined components, perhaps a craftsman's sport or an individually crafted piece made by a person with an interest in light engineering. A serrated cog has a star of ten points attached to it, presumably by brazing. A central spherical boss is likewise attached to the middle of the star. A tiny [diameter 2.2mm] suspension loop is attached to the cog. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900.
