A Medieval silver coin; a cut half short cross penny of John (AD 1199 - 1216), Class 5- 6c dating from AD 1204 - 1217. The moneyer is Walter at London or Canterbury. It is 17.2mm long, 9.1mm wide and 0.67mm thick, and weighs 0.55g. See North number 968/4 - 976/3 on page 221 - 222 of Volume 1 (1994).
