A sherd of a ceramic Vessel of Roman date (AD 150-400). The sherd is a Nene Valley Colour Coated ware and is a double lipped everted rim sherd. The fabric is light buff and is soft with no visible inclusions. The outer surfaces have a dark grey slip coating and decorated with circumferential bands visible beneath most likely an indicator of a wheel thrown vessel.
