Fragment of a medieval composite copper alloy strap-end, scrap of lower end of front-plate (recessed on reverse), face with transverse groove at springing of an elaborate cast foliate openwork terminal. Extant length 28mm. Width of terminal 16.5mm. Cf. Fingerlin 1971, 189, nos.312-14. 14th-15th century.
