A fragment of a Roman, copper alloy, 'snake' bracelet AD.100-300. The object comprises one of the terminals of the bracelet. The terminal is a pointed oval with the top side decorated with three incised lines, two are parallel and run up the centre for approximately 15mm. The third line is offset and runs at an angle along one of the edges of the terminal for the same length as the other two lines. The two main lines have punched dashed decoration running the length of them. There are two opposed angled lines at the band end of the lines that emerge approx. 3mm before the end of the line and angle away from the centre to the edge of the terminal. The band is decorated with three punched parallel lines of 'C' shaped scales, with the apex of the C facing towards the terminal.
