An incomplete cast copper-alloy bracelet of Allason-Jones 1984, Type 9, dating to the Roman period probably from the second to third centuries (c. AD 100-300). The bracelet, which is bent into a rough crescent shape, comprises a single bar with rounded terminals that is broadly rectangular in profile and oval in cross-section. The bar is uneven in thickness, wide1ning slightly at one end. There is no decoration but the entire object has a patchy mid-green patina. The bracelet is 49mm in length. The bar is 3.5mm at its thinnest, 4mm at its widest and 2.5-3mm thick. The bracelet weighs 5.80 grams.
