Tertiary, hard hammer struck flake, of unpatinated slightly mottled dark grey flint of good quality, struck from a prepared core with semi-centripetal, over-lapping invasive flake scars to the rather flat dorsal face. The bulb of percussion has been removed transversely by very steep retouch struck from the dorsal face, all edges appear to have been damaged recently. Likely to be a unifacial variation of the discoidal knife. Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age.
