A copper alloy fragment of an Anglo-Saxon Girdle-Hanger c. 400 - 600 AD. Only the distal terminal to the proximal distal corners remain, along with the central remnant of the lower shank. The surface of the remaining shank has two lines of punched triangular stamps, running unevenly down, near the outer edges. The rest of the distal terminal are also decorated with the same triangular punches, again, slightly uneven in their distribution and close to the edges.

The surface has a mottled mid-green patina with some ferrous staining.
