Medieval copper alloy harness pendant, c. 36mm long and 22mm wide, with a weight of 3.58g.

The object is circular in form and sub semi-circular in cross section. It consists of a domed circular plate with a hollow underside, which has an integral rectangular cross sectioned short shaft terminating in a transverse circular suspension loop.

The loop is filled with iron and the objects worn outer surface has patches of gilding adhering to it, but no sign of other decoration.

The object is similar to BUC-D96666, DENO-9AC551, SUR-C38E3A and SF-B5135B with suggetsed dates ranging between 1270-1370.
