Fragment of a lead object, probably the butt from a toy gun (1600 - 1700). The toy is probably modelled on the petronel pistol that was popular in the 17th century (Forsyth & Egan, 2005: 97). The fragment is flat, rectangular in plan, and decorated on one side. The decorative side has a raised perimeter enclosing a hatched background and two moulded circles. The panel and decoration are similar to other toy guns, for instance DENO-459EB2.
