Circular Badge or Mount. Obverse is highly decorated, there are several rings of decoration. There are four small circles, one at North, East, South and West which are all entwined with a decorated rope like border, there is a border around the circumference which contains smaller circles, 5 in each quarter. There is then a petal like border which then contains a large circle in the centre. Gold gilding can be seen in parts but it has mostly been rubbed off. The reverse is plain, but there are remnants of 2 protrusions which are now broken off. From this corrosion is visible. The object is whole, and in good condition but some hairline cracks are visible in places. Object is 55mm in diameter and weighs 70.9g in weight.
