NUT CRACKERS

Unique ID: DYFED-2FD44D

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Published Find published

A cast copper-alloy pair of nutcrackers. Both arms are intact and the hinge is still usable. There are ridges on the inside face of each arm, where the nut would have been places. One arm tapers into a flat base at a 90 degree angle, the other arm tapers into an acorn shaped end. The object is intact and in good condition, with very little corrosion. Another example of a similar (if not the same type of) nutcracker is SUSS-0F5604.
