BROOCH

Unique ID: GLO-1C6E76

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

This is a fragment of a heavily corroded and truncated bow brooch. Only the head of the brooch remains and consists of truncated wings that project to either side, because of damage and corrosion in this area it is impossible to determine how the pin was attached. Projecting from the front of the wings is the bow which has a small expanded panel below its apex, the brooch is truncated after this point resulting in the loss of most of the bow.
