Copper alloy purse bar fragment, possibly Williams Class J. Cast pin with a round section shank of diameter 3.7mm and a large sub-spherical ball head with a crudely incised cross on it. The ball end was intended to prevent a bag slipping off the bar. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1600.
