Copper-alloy bead with white-metal coating of post-medieval date (c. 1500 - 1800 AD). The bead is hollow and hexagonal in form with a small central, circular perforation. It is formed from two copper-alloy sheets and the seam is visible around the outer edge. One side of the bead has caved in slightly, causing the seam at this point to fracture. The bead is now brown in colour but the surface retains some patches of silver or tin plating. The object is 11.58mm in diameter, 10.03mm in thickness and weighs 1.08g. The diameter of the perforation is 2.11mm.

There are a number of similar examples recorded on the database which have all been assigned a post-medieval date. These include: SOM-06DAF6, SWYOR-C582D6 and NLM-704773.
