A copper alloy chafing dish handle and lug dating to the late medieval or early post medieval period (AD 1400 - AD 1600). The handle is shaped like an inverted openwork letter T. There is a lug still attached, with a circular rivet where it would have been attached to the chafing dish.

The metal is worn and mid green in colour. The chafing dish handle is 49.6 mm long, 54.0 mm wide and 5.1 mm thick. It weighs 31.3 g.
