A Mesolithic or Neolithic flint core dating from about 9000 BC - 2200 BC. It is formed on opaque grey cherty flint. It is irregular with at least two striking platforms at right angles to each other. The removals produced bladelets or small flakes. One side of the core is crystalline and unusable. It is 21.5mm long, 21.8mm wide and 15.3mm thick. 8g.
