Incomplete medieval spur buckle, oval frame with integral shouldered plate with perforation for missing pin, rivet-hole and further expansion before the narrowed bar which is broken where the terminal begins to expand. The plate has been folded widthways onto its face. Extant length (unbent) 54.5mm. Width of frame 16mm. Cf. broadly similar examples in Whitehead (2003), 195-9. 13th-14th century.
