Medieval copper alloy folding strap clasp, frame with slightly convex sides and a vestigial ridge near each corner and narrowed outside edge with folding end with separate rivet securing a longitudinally faceted D-sectioned bar. Rectangular-sectioned bar for missing plate. Frame length 15.5mm, width 11.5mm. Folding end length 8.5mm, width 10.5mm. See Egan and Pritchard (1991), 118, fig.77. Later 13th-14th century.
