Medieval/Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle, 32mm long, 28mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 5.30g.
The buckle is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It is formed of a double loop with a central pin bar. Each outer edge is decorated with three incised transverse lines. The object is similar to no 289 p.53 in Whiteheads Buckles, which he has dated to 1350-1650
