Post Medieval copper alloy coin weight, 13mm long, 12mm wide and 1mm thick with a weight of 1.90g. The object is rectangular in form and cross section and is very worn. On one face it has a stamped image of a ship with forecastles and a rounded hull. Its other face is very worn but appears to have a rounded border with a possible figure and initials flanking it? the design matches several on page 25, Withers, P & B, Lions, Ships and Angels and is probably of continental manufacture.
