A complete Medieval silver penny of Edward II (1307-1327), minted at London. Class 11a2, 1311-1312 (North 1991: 36, ref: 1060/2).

Obverse: EDWAR ANGL DNS hYB; Crowned bust facing with a bifoliate crown and wedged drapery (ornaments of the crown are broken).

Reverse: CIVI/TAS/LON/DON; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant.

Diameter: 18.0mm. Weight: 1.35g. DA=12:2.
