An incomplete Medieval silver penny of Edward I (AD 1272-1307). Class 10ab (North 1038/2-1038/2) dating to AD 1301-10. Minted at Canterbury. The die has been double-struck on the obverse. Coin is worn and has been bent slightly leaving cracks and chipping on the edge at 4 o'clock and 10 o'clock on the obverse. (North 1991: 31)
