A complete copper-alloy anonymous issue Nuremberg jetton, 'ship-penny' type, dating to the Post-Medieval period (AD 1490-1550). The obverse has a fictitious legend and depicts the profile of a sailing ship bearing a central mast with stern flag on the left, bow pennant on the right and bow castle with a pennant on its pole above, with a crown initial mark above. The reverse also has a fictitious legend, with four fleurs-de-lis in a lozenge. Similar to Mitchiner 1988, p. 373, no. 1172.
