An copper alloy double looped buckle dating to c.1350-1650. The frame is made up of two oval loops that have a plano-convex section and chamfered inside edges. The centre bar is narrowed from the frame, it has a trapezoidal section. The pin is wrapped around the central bar and tapers to a blunt point, it has a trapezoidal section. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
