An incomplete Post Medieval silver sixpence of Charles I (AD 1625-1649). Group G (North 2247), initial mark probably an eye dating to AD 1645. Mint of Aberystwyth. The coin has been clipped at 8 o'clock to 11 o'clock on the obverse. (North 1991: 161)
