A flat, circular, cast lead weight, with moulded design on one side probably dating to around AD 1300 to 1700. The design has a raised rim and a raised design of a rectangular bar reaching across the diameter with a oval thickening at the centre. The weight is 406g, it is 73.25mm in diameter, and 13.9mm thick.
There is signs of wear on one side of the weight which may be the reason as to why the weight doesnt fit to any known weight system. There is a possibility it could be a one pound weight using the averdepois weight system which uses 454g as 1 pound (Biggs and Withers, 2000, pg14).
