An incomplete silver Roman denarius of Augustus (27 BC - AD 14), dating to c. 19 BC (Reece Period 1). MAR VLT reverse type depicting round domed temple with four columns; within, Mars, helmeted and cloaked, standing left, right hand holding aquila, trophy over left shoulder. Mint of Spain ("Uncertain mint 2"). RIC I, p. 47, no. 69a.
