An incomplete copper-alloy Roman stud/mount, dating to AD 100-300. It is sub-rectangular in plan, with rounded short sides and it is hemisferical in cross-section. The back face originally had two integral rivets; the one which suvives now bears a disc head. The front face is decorated with transverse bands alternate with thin ridges.
